American Red Cross Approved asProvider  of Continuing Education Units!

Many American Red Cross course takers are professionals who need continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain a license and/or certification.  In order to meet this customer need, a team was formed that included representatives from chapters and national headquarters departments to explore and evaluate options for CEU delivery.

The American Red Cross applied to become and was approved as an authorized provider by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET).  IACET's Criteria for Quality Continuing Education and Training Programs are the standards by which hundreds of organizations measure their educational offerings.  The National Park and Recreation Association and the American Nurses Association are examples of organizations that accept IACET CEUs.
